                                  are presenting this special conference.


Featured Speakers 

Sonia Nieto- internationally renowned authority in the areas of multicultural education, teacher preparation, social justice and the education of culturally and linguistically diverse students.  

Asma Mobin-Uddin- pediatrician turned children’s author; community                                 leader, speaker and writer about Islam, Muslim-American life, and related images in literature.

Troy Hicks-  director of the Chippewa River Writing Project, a site of the National Writing Project; teaches writing and offers professional development workshops on writing and technology

Join us for a day focused on writing and literacy in the 21st century.

Concurrent Sessions will includeClassroom Practices, Technology, English Language Learners, K-12 Writing, Standardized Testing, Assessment,  New Media  Tools and Practices and more.
